What We’ve Been Up to this month

This month, we have been continuing a lot of our work with long-term clients, and building our Inclusive Futures Academy through offering shorter, foundation courses that offer a pathway to our Diploma with less commitment.

Read on for our monthly highlights in education, and organisational work.

Our Work in Education

Coaching skills training with SOAS

This month, we delivered coaching skills training with group supervision to support the leadership team at SOAS to embed coaching within their leadership.

We will have a case study soon – so keep an eye on our website.

If you’re interested in how coaching skills training could be beneficial to your students, or staff team, get in touch with us by emailing our head of educational work, and director Jess: jess@inclusivefutures.co.uk

1:1 Coaching at the University of York for their On Track programme

This academic year, we are partnering with the University of York to deliver 1:1 coaching to 150 students across 2025–26 for their On Track programme.

These sessions are designed to support students with clarity, direction, confidence and resilience — whether they are navigating career decisions, academic pressure or personal growth.

You can read more about the outcomes and student feedback in our full case study here.

1:1 DISC reviews for learners on the YTKO leadership and management programme

This month, we completed our 1:1 reviews as part of leadership and management programme with YTKO.

DISC is a behavioural assessment framework used to understand human behaviour, communication styles, and workplace preferences.

Foundation Courses in Inclusive Coaching Skills in May and June

On 27th and 28th January, we delivered our first in-person Foundation in Inclusive Coaching Skills of the year, in Central Bristol.

After the success of this course, we have confirmed dates for our next one: May 7th-8th, and we will be returning to the lovely offices at PwC, Bristol.

We have also created a leadership-specific course, which will cover most of the content from our foundation, with some added aspects for leadership positions. This will take place on June 4th-5th at Burges Salmon in Bristol.

The Foundation Programme equips participants with:
• Inclusive questioning techniques
• Tools to build psychological safety
• Greater awareness of identity and impact in leadership conversations

The response was overwhelmingly positive last time (see testimonials here)
