Coaching Supervision
Coaching is deeply relational. It involves emotional labour, ethical judgement, and navigating complexity — often without a clear place to process what you are holding. Supervision exists because reflective practice matters.
The Association of Coaching describes coaching supervision as a “formal and protected time” for in-depth reflection within a confidential, collaborative relationship, intended to build ethical competency, confidence and creativity.
Supervision is a structured, confidential, reflective space where coaches or mentors can step back from their day-to-day work and explore what is happening in their practice, relationships, and wider systems.
It is not about being assessed, fixed, or told what to do.
And it’s not performance management, mentoring, or therapy.
Instead, supervision provides a space to:
- Reflect on your work with your students or peers
- Explore the emotional and relational impact of coaching others
- Notice patterns, assumptions, and blind spots
- Think ethically and systemically about complex situations
- Strengthen confidence, clarity, and judgement
Who is it for?
- Staff who use coaching approaches with young people.
- HR within schools, and higher education spaces who don’t feel that they have a safe space to reflect and process sensitive information with an impartial, confidential third party.
- Peer mentors, or student prefects.
We can provide a completely tailored to you, impartial, confidential safe space through supervision.
