360 Review
What is a 360 Review?
One of the most important traits of an inclusive leader is seeking feedback for development. However, we can be biased, and subjective, when we look at ourselves.
A 360 Review is a performance and development tool that gathers feedback from multiple perspectives to provide a balanced view of an individual’s behaviours, skills, and leadership impact. It gives organisations insight into how leaders are perceived, highlighting strengths and areas for improvement.
Most often used for professional development and leadership growth; it increases self-awareness and helps individuals better understand their impact.
Why choose the 360 Review?
• Broader perspective: Incorporates feedback from multiple people in varying roles, providing a more complete and balanced view of performance.
• Reduced bias: Instead of listening to just one person’s opinion, we listen to lots of people.
• Increased self-awareness: Helps individuals understand how their intentions compare with how they are perceived by others.
• Stronger leadership development: Identifies specific strengths and growth areas critical for leadership effectiveness.
• Improved collaboration: Encourages accountability and better interpersonal dynamics across teams.
• Targeted development planning: Provides actionable insights that support focused, meaningful professional growth.

1-2-1 Peer feedback sessions
The Inclusive Futures team can hold up to 3 peer feedback sessions for each leader.
These sessions are a 1-2-1 conversation between one of our coaches and one of the Managers’ colleagues to gain more in-depth insight.
For example, this might be:
- the Manager’s line manager
- a peer
- someone the Manager has line-management responsibility for
360 Feedback session
Each leader will have an opportunity to explore their 360 reports in a confidential session with one of our Inclusive Futures coaches.
360 Report
Using the insight gained from the completed survey, peer conversations, and 1-2-1 review, we will produce a report that highlights each Manager’s strengths, challenges, and suggested areas for development along with signposting to any relevant tools and support.
